The Parish of
St Matthew, Willesden
We are a London-based community church welcoming Christians of all backgrounds to worship together.
We are a lively, busy church with a confident, exuberant faith. Firmly rooted in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England, we proclaim the Good News through Word, Sacrament and Service.
Worship
Worship is offered on most days during the week, with the main act of worship being our sung Solemn Mass every Sunday at 11am. Our Sunday School also takes place during the service, and there's a creche at the back of church too for little ones.
The usual Mass times are as follows:
Sunday - 11am Solemn Mass
Monday - 10am Low Mass
Tuesday - 10am Low Mass
Wednesday - 7.30pm Low Mass
Thursday - 12noon Low Mass
Friday - 10am Low Mass

Safeguarding
St Matthew, Willesden takes seriously the well being of every person in our church community and values each equally. We have a Safeguarding Officer and a Children's Champions who can be contacted in church or as below. We have systems in place to respond to concerns of abuse whether financial, emotional or any other kind. We have formally adopted the Church of England policy on Promoting a Safer Church, which you can find here.
The Safeguarding Officer (Valerie Govia - contact) and Children's Champion (Sharon Hylton - contact) have their photographs in church and can be easily contacted. The Vicar can be contacted via email or by phone. You can also contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team here.
